David Field is a fourth generation native Chicagoan and calls the Western Suburbs his “home”. David has unique, in depth, and first-hand knowledge of many predominant Chicago Western Suburbs communities. David has resided in the following suburbs and knows them intimately:
Elmhurst: Born and raised…left in 1985 to pursue a Marketing and Advertising degree from Southern Illinois University (Carbondale) Oak Park: David’s first “home away from home” and first entry into the world of Real Estate, purchasing and rehabbing his first condo
Hinsdale: Enjoyed being connected to the thriving business climate and relocation buyers and sellers.
Clarendon Hills: Enjoyed being connected to the Clarendon Hills and adjoining Hinsdale community…his first home purchase and officially became hooked on rehabbing and Real Estate as an investment tool Downers Grove: Our real estate investment knowledge came in handy while residing in the charming town with original Sear’s kit homes…

David’s first endeavor in business ownership was as a partner in a manufacturing and converting business. His role within the business was as Sales & Marketing manager. David and his team grew the business to $35MM annual sales revenue and had 50+ full time employee’s in a 150,000 sq ft factory.
It was during this period that David honed his skills in sales, customer service, negotiation, marketing, sales strategy and financial analysis – at the time, not yet knowing that these very skills would drive his passion in building his first Real Estate entity in the next phase of his life. David and his partners sold the business in 2002 to larger corporate entities within the allied industries.
David’s next endeavor in business ownership came soon thereafter when he and two new business partners opened a Residential Real Estate Brokerage firm.
David’s skills in marketing and business strategy enabled him to build a Brokerage of 40+ agents in less than three years.
David was destined to pursue his love of Real Estate. David soon realized that he could utilize his skill sets he sharpened in former business adventures and become equally successful by building his very own Real Estate sales team, so, in 2008 he sold the shares of his Real Estate firm to his partners and opened his own venture, Home Field Realtors in Naperville, IL. Today, David is actively building the “Home Field Realtors” and “The Home Field Team” brands. Together, Home Field Realtors and The Home Field Team, will quickly become the preferred Real Estate name in the Naperville, IL and Chicago Western Suburbs real estate markets.
Professional Designations and Memberships David has obtained
This is one of the most stringent set of courses that can be completed by a real estate professional. Courses taken for a managing broker’s license include topics such as appraisal, real estate law, contracts, ethics, mortgages, brokerage and management and closing procedures. This license provides the ability for a Realtor to open an office. The benefit to you is your peace of mind when hiring a Realtor who knows what procedures to follow.
